We at Pacific Tropics are proud to be a company that strives for healthy specimens by keeping them in quality conditions. We are constantly investing in new equipment and trying innovative ways to catch, hold, and transport fish with as minimal impact as possible.
We net catch all our specimens at depths from 1' to 240'. We do not use any chemicals, drugs or unattended traps to capture fish.
Most fish collected in the aquarium trade go from a collector to a local wholesaler, then shipped to a national wholesaler, then finally shipped to the local pet store. We cut out the middlemen and ship fish straight to the store. That means better savings it also means better quality.

Pacific Tropics fish are all caught by state licensed divers. We adhere to all state of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), Division of Aquatic Resources (DAR) rules, regulations and reporting procedures.
